Overnight Sailing Adventure to Taiyasanka Harbor

Join us for a magical 24-hours of adventuring in the Taiya inlet and Taiyasanka Harbor.

  • Dinner and Breakfast included and prepared by chef Sierra.

  • Snacks and drinks (non-alcoholic) included.

  • Kayaking and Paddleboarding in Taiyasanka Harbor.

  • A cozy and epic night of Star Gazing (maybe Aurora —April and early May), storytelling, and games in beautiful Taiyasanka Harbor.

  • Sleep on a sailboat while anchored in a calm and stunning bay.

  • Often there are brown bears on the beach munching on the sedge, and goats on the cliffs above where we anchor.

  • The perfect “Staycation” for Skagwegians, Yukoners, and independent travelers.

Important Details:

$200 Per Person (Double Occupancy Required), or $1000 for a private booking (up to 2-6 guests total).

All of our Sailing adventures begin and end at the Skagway Small Boat Harbor. Please plan on being at the top of the Northern Dock Ramp (next the Harbormaster’s office) at 1 PM on your Adventure date. Our crew will meet you there and escort you to Hopscotch!

  • This adventure begins at 1pm on day 1, and ends at 1pm on day 2. It is 24 hours long, please plan accordingly.

  • We take a maximum of 6 guests on board, so join us solo or bring your friends! We also offer private trips for groups of 2-6, please inquire.

  • Hopscotch has three guest cabins, which each hold 2 people in a “queen” sized bed, so please plan on traveling with someone you can share that space with.

  • For safety reasons we ask that all guests are at least 10 years old. Guests must also be able-bodied for walking on un-even and shifting surfaces. Guests are also required to wear low profile inflatable life vests (you won’t even know you’re wearing it!).

What you DO need to bring:

  • We ask that you bring a jacket and warm clothes. Even on the most gorgeous Alaskan Day, the wind on the water can be chilly. We have plenty of space to store any clothing you wish to stow. Please also bring boots in case we go ashore.

  • We have plenty of snacks and drinks, but you are welcome to bring any food or drinks you wish to consume on board.
